Camp Hill, Pa.-based Rite Aid Corp. finalized the $2.7 million purchase of three separate properties at the corner of 15th Street and Highland Avenue, across from the Chevron gas station in west Redmond last week. The company will eventually move its existing Rite Aid pharmacy at Odem Medo Road and U.S. Highway 97 to a new building at the location, said Cheryl Slavinsky, company spokeswoman. The company, which also has plans to open a new store in Madras, has four locations in Central Oregon. It still has not set a timeline for when the move will occur in Redmond, Slavinsky said.
