Golf Magazine named Sunriver Resort again as a gold medalist and one of the 30 best golf resorts in the United States.

This is the resort’s fourth time making the biennial rankings, which were released in the publication’s March issue.

The rankings are based on the opinions of a panel of golf experts as well as a survey of more than 8,000 readers of Golf Magazine’s Web site, Golf.com, officials for Golf Magazine said.

Bandon Dunes Golf Resort on the southern Oregon Coast was the only other Oregon resort to make the list. The resort earned the first-ever platinum medal, one of 10 resorts to earn the highest honor on the magazine’s list.
