Roger “Pops” A. Biggerstaff, of Bend, died May 2 of natural causes. He was 59.
No services are planned.
Mr. Biggerstaff was born Jan. 5, 1949, in Tacoma, Wash., the son of Willis and Nancy (Boyd) Biggerstaff.
Mr. Biggerstaff served in the U.S. National Guard for 12 years. He was a driver for Buffelen Woodworking Co. in Tacoma for 25 years.
He enjoyed building greenhouses, horticulture, landscaping and going to the beach. He had lived in Bend for three years.
Survivors include two sons, Jefferey, of Bend, and Nathan, of Tacoma; a sister, Jodi Knapp, of Portland; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and his parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Children’s Cancer Society.
