A 36-year-old Bend man died this morning after he jumped out of moving vehicle on Highway 20 during an argument with his wife.

After receiving a call about an injured person, Bend police officers and paramedics found Patrick Giamanco on the east side of Highway 20 near Robal Road shortly before 7 a.m., according to a news release from the Bend Police Department.

Giamanco was arguing with his 30-year-old wife, Patricia Carolina Giamanco, when he opened the door and exited the vehicle as it traveled west on Highway 20, the news release stated. The vehicles speed was not determined.

Patrick Giamanco died at the scene, the news release stated. Police believe he jumped from the car, and investigators found no evidence of foul play, the news release stated.
