The Raku Artists of Central Oregon presents its annual Mother’s Day Weekend Raku Pottery Art Show and Sale from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Central Oregon Environmental Center in Bend.

Raku is an ancient Japanese process that combines copper- and mineral-filled glazes and combustible firing techniques to produce pottery with iridescent, satiny or glossy finishes.

The free, annual show will feature raku pottery as well as high-fired pottery, porcelain, jewelry and other arts and crafts. The Central Oregon Environmental Center is located at 16 N.W. Kansas Ave., in Bend.
