Pearl (Stover) Corns, of Bend, died Dec. 22 of natural causes. She was 91.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Corns was born Oct. 7, 1915, in Akron, Ohio, to Clarence and Mable Stover. She graduated from Kahler School of Nursing in 1937. She married William Corns on June 18, 1938.
Mrs. Corns worked as a registered nurse until her retirement in 1969.
She enjoyed reading, knitting, crafts and spending time with family. She moved to Central Oregon in 2002.
Survivors include a son, William Jr., of Sausalito, Calif.; two daughters, Harriet McCleary, of Bend, and Eileen Hale, of Petaluma, Calif.; a brother, James Stover, of Sparks, Nev.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
