Henning “Hank” and Betty Jorgensen, of Bend, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 20.

The couple were married Jan. 20, 1952, in Portland. They have two children, Patti (and John) Herrick, of Bend, and the late Terri Lynn Dunkle (and Don, of Beaverton); and three grandchildren.

Mr. Jorgensen is a retired tool and die maker. He joined the U.S. Army after emigrating from Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1947. Mrs. Jorgensen is a retired nurse and a homemaker. They attend Eastmont Church and are a part of the local veterans’ organization Band of Brothers.

They have lived in Central Oregon for three years.
