Oden ‘Odie’ Leroy Briley

Oden ”Odie” Leroy Briley, of Redmond, died Monday. He was 77.

No services are planned.

Mr. Briley was born April 14, 1929, in Lavern, Okla., to Russell and Ozie (Foulke) Briley. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Blendia Taylor on Sept. 7, 1952, in Antioch, Calif.

Mr. Briley had worked as an auto service manager for JCPenney and Montgomery Ward, both in California, for many years. He later owned and operated various service stations in Redmond. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, his pets and spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Noel, of Beaverton, and William, of Lakeview; a brother, Otis, of Antioch; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.
