Madras senior is Tri-Valley co-MVP

MADRAS – Senior pitcher Pat Dominguez, who posted a 10-1 record during the regular season for Madras, has been named the co-player of the year in baseball for the Tri-Valley League.
Dominguez was one of seven players who earned 2006 Tri-Valley all-conference recognition from Madras High School.
Joining Dominguez on the all-league first team from the White Buffaloes were senior infielder Tyler Ellsbury and sophomore outfielder Darrell Ceciliani. Sophomore catcher Jacob Prow, senior infielder Vaughan Prow and junior outfielder Jansen Harrington were named to the all-league second team, while sophomore first baseman Albert Adams and Jacob Prow (pitcher) received honorable mention.
Dominguez shared player of the year honors with Wilsonville junior infielder Tyler Reeves. Sherwood’s Jon Strohmaier was chosen coach of the year.
