Redmond-based singer/songwriter Allan Byer will celebrate his new album, ”Money Talks Too Much,” with a CD-release party from 6 to 9 tonight at Caffe Bellisimo, 450 SW Powerhouse Drive, Bend.

The 17-song album is his third in five years, notes Byer, adding ”I am prolific if nothing else.”

Byer is a member of the Positive Music Association (www.positivemusicassociation. com). The group aims to create a new category, ”POZ,” which spans genres like folk, country, and adult contemporary, but focuses on music with either a positive sound or positive messages.
