Eugene ”Gene” Monroe Frederick of Terrebonne died Friday of cancer. He was 86.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery.
Mr. Frederick was born April 14, 1919, in Flaxville, Mont., to Eugene and Mable (Laughlin) Frederick. He married Elizabeth Doby.
Mr. Frederick worked as a farmer. He also drove trucks in the CCC camp. He enjoyed motorcycles and being a farmer and mechanic.
Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Dwayne Forrester of Menlo Park, Calif.; four stepdaughters, Wanda Clark of Terrebonne, Carolyn Lee of Omak, Wash., Sandra Dalton of Jacksonville and Shiela Webster of Springfield; three brothers, Leroy of Billings, Mont., and Jack and Dwight, both of Scobey, Mont.; and a sister, Margaret Williamson of Scobey.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
