Rachel Pendley and Bob Rhodes, both of Bend, plan to marry Oct. 29 at Elk Lake Resort.

The future bride is the daughter of Dave and Janice Turner of Bend. She is a 1999 graduate of Mountain View High School, and a 2001 graduate of Central Oregon Community College. She works as a dental assistant in Bend.

The future groom is the son of Greg and Carol Rhodes of Willow Grove, Pa. He is a 1999 graduate of Upper Moreland High School, and a 2001 graduate of Camden County College. He works as an auto mechanic for Toyota-Scion of Bend.
