The Katrina Kick Off, a kickball tournament to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, is scheduled for 6 o’clock this evening at Central Oregon Community College in Bend.

The tournament is open to anyone; teams will be forming at Mazama athletic field near the COCC track. No kickball experience is necessary.

Participants are asked to raise a minimum of $25 each. Donations will be accepted at the tournament site and will go to the American Red Cross hurricane relief effort.
