Central Oregon Community College’s Adult Basic Education program will register students for winter term beginning Jan. 9.

Students can register for classes in basic skills, GED preparation, high school diploma and English language learning. Registration takes place in the classrooms during scheduled class times. For locations and schedules, call 504-2950 or visit www.cocc.edu/abe.

The Adult Basic Education program also offers computer labs in La Pine, Madras and Prineville. They are open 10 hours per week throughout the term. Lab assistants will provide free help with a basic introduction to computer skills and assistance using the COCC Web site and other financial aid Web sites. GED tests will be administered during winter term at all locations by appointment.
