Larry Parker has joined Pinnacle Architecture Inc. as project architect. Parker has 26 years of design and construction experience in residential work; including custom homes, single-family production homes, townhouses, commercial building, remodeling and solar additions. He is licensed in California, received a master’s degree in architectural history from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Cincinnati. Michael Sperling has been promoted to the position of Manager for Habitat ReStore, located at 1789 SW Veterans Way, Suite F, Dimeo Building, in Redmond. Sperling was instrumental in helping with the recent move to ReStore’s new location. The Habitat ReStore is a division of Redmond Habitat for Humanity. Karen Oppenheimer, M.D., has joined Bend Memorial Clinic’s Internal Medicine Department. Oppenheimer was an assistant professor at the University of California-San Diego and director of the outpatient residents teaching clinic. She is a graduate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and completed her residency and fellowship at UCSD.

In her new position at BMC, Oppenheimer will focus on women’s health and general medicine, specializing in preventative care for ages 18 and up. An avid runner, cyclist and triathlete, she currently lives in Bend with her husband. Contact: 617-0057.
