The Oregon Coast Aquarium is seeking artists, young and old, for a tile art exhibit in the aquarium’s main lobby in Newport.

According to the press release, ”for donations of $75 or more, you can have your drawing of your favorite Aquarium animal placed on a tile and displayed prominently for one full year in the Aquarium’s lobby.” Proceeds will support education and conservation programs as well as day-to-day operations at the Aquarium

Interested artists can request a brochure with details and order form from the Aquarium. Cost of ceramic tiles are $75 for a 4-inch tile, $100 for a 6-inch tile, $250 for an 8-inch tile and $500 for a 12-inch tile. Upon receipt of the order form and donation, the aquarium will send a drawing template.
