Big Daddy Weave plays Bend’s Christian Life Center on Tuesday

With Elliot’s CD-release show tonight (see above) and next week’s Big Daddy Weave concert, it’s not raining but pouring for local fans of Christian music.

On Tuesday, the “Love Comes to Life” tour will stop at the Christian Life Center on the eastern edge of Bend, bringing faith-based hitmakers Big Daddy Weave back to town on the wave of their current hit single and upcoming album, both also called “Love Comes to Life.”

It’s not their first hit single, either. BDW’s strummy acoustic pop has been a staple on Christian radio for the past several years, as songs like “Every Time I Breathe,” “Audience of One” and “What Life Would Be Like” have found favor with the masses.

The band has been here at least once before, opening for Mark Schultz. Now, they’re headlining, and the opening bands include Mikeschair and Kerrie Roberts. Find lots more at www.bigdaddyweave.com.

Big Daddy Weave, with Mikeschair and Kerrie Roberts; 7 p.m. Tuesday; $15 advance, $20 at the door, $12 groups 10 or more. Advance tickets available at www.itickets.com, 800-965-9324, Dairy Queen (541-385-6880) in Bend, Cornerstone Book and Gift (541-923-4372) in Redmond, or the venue; Christian Life Center, 21720 U.S. Highway 20, Bend; www.clcbend.com, info@clcbend.com or 541-389-8241.
