The Madras DMV field office’s hours will change beginning Monday because of staff shortage, the Driver and Motor Vehicle Services Division announced this week.The temporary office hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. The office, located at 249 SW Third St., closes for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. every weekday.The hours will remain in effect until the vacant office position is filled and the new employee trained. Until then, an employee from the Redmond office will help staff the Madras office, according to a news release.
