Brandon Peter Klein

Brandon Peter Klein, infant son of Jeffrey and Michelle (McNeil) Klein died Friday in Portland.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Bend. Committal will follow at Pilot Butte Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents and grandparents of Bend.

Niswonger, Reynolds and Tabor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Arthur Fronando

Arthur Fronando of Madras died Thursday of natural causes. He was 82.

A memorial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Madras Church of Christ.

Mr. Fronando was born Sept. 12, 1918, in Arcata, Calif. He attended Bend High in the 30s.

He served in the Army from 1941 to 1945 in World War II in the Pacific Theater.

Mr. Fronando married Joy Margaret Wilbanks Jan. 26, 1946, in Toutle, Wash. They have lived in Central Oregon for more than 30 years.

He was a millworker in various mills throughout Oregon.

Mr. Fronando was affiliated with the Madras Church of Christ and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of Madras; three daughters, Donna Richey of Madras, Ann Cockrum of Rock Springs, Wyo., and Vena Hall of Spokane, Wash.; two sons, Ivan Pack of Lakeview and Neal Pack of Madras; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and a grandson.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
