“Candorville,” a long-running comic, strip has been discontinued from syndication, causing The Bulletin to make a change in its comics lineup. 

We’re using this opportunity to give readers a chance to choose a new strip. Over the next four weeks, we will be running a new comic strip each week: 

Week one: “Curtis” is centered around a middle-class family living in a large American city and often includes aspects of African-American culture and history. 

Week two: “Six Chicks” is a humorous strip written by six different women, each one is assigned a different day. 

Week three: “Dumplings” is about a girl and her dog and the friends in their lives, but a grumpy cat and a somewhat clueless kitten help with the smiles, too.  

Week four: “Insanity Streak” is a single-panel strip with potentially funny insights each day.
