Fifth annual Suttle Lodge Winter Beer Festival is Friday and Saturday

Friday and Saturday’s fifth annual Suttle Lodge Winter Beer Festival features pours from over 25 craft breweries, live music and cozy vibes on the shores of Suttle Lake.

The lodge’s cabins will be decorated in the style of rifugios — huts typically used by mountaineers in the Alps — as the festival is inspired by European winter markets, said a press release.

A full list of participating breweries is available on the lodge’s website and includes out-of-state selections such as Jester King from Texas, Aslan Brewing from Bellingham, Washington, and Pure Project from San Diego. Attendees will be able to pair beers with a menu crafted by Chef Ariel Dyer.

“It’s a gorgeous winter wonderland at Suttle Lodge in February, and we’re excited to once again welcome guests to enjoy the crisp forest air and serene lake views alongside our roaring fires, great live music, delicious food and favorite breweries from Oregon and beyond,” said Donald Kenney a partner of Suttle Lodge.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit CASA of Central Oregon, a nonprofit advocating for children in foster care by collaborating with key agencies, legal counsel and community partners.

Entry is free for children — there will be hot cocoa and apple cider provided — and leashed dogs are welcome.
