BEAVERTON — Several Central Oregon track and field athletes earned championships at the prestigious Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays Friday at Jesuit High School.

Summit’s Collin Moore won the high jump with a mark of 6 feet, 6 inches. Noah Goodrich, also of Summit, won the triple jump with a leap of 45-6.

The Twilight Relays featured several relay events and an elite mile invitational race for boys and girls.

The Caldera boys 4×800-meter relay team of Noah Donaldson, Ben Jackson, Mason Morical and Dane Giessler won the event in a time of 8 minutes, 6.68 seconds.

Summit’s Hayden Boaz competed in the men’s elite mile, finishing 12th in 4:12.94. His 1,500-meter split was 3:55.45. The race featured top distance runners from across the Northwest. Nathan Neil, of Bozeman, Mont., won the race in 4:01.31.

Lincoln’s Ellery Lincoln won the women’s elite mile in 4:43.

Sherwood finished atop the men’s varsity team scores with 42 points. Summit was second with 38, Caldera was 20th (10), Ridgeview was 31st (8) and Mountain View finished 35th (7).

Jesuit won the women’s varsity team competition with 36 points. Summit finished fifth with 25, Ridgeview was 14th (18), Caldera finished 48th (4) and Redmond was 52nd (3).

The Summit Invitational, featuring most Central Oregon track and field teams, is set for Saturday at 10 a.m. at Summit High School. The Intermountain Conference championships are also scheduled for Summit, May 10-11.
