Police search for owner of Great Dane that killed dog at fairgrounds

Police want to speak with the driver of this SUV, who may own four Great Danes, one of which may have killed a Pomeranian on Monday  in Redmond.

Redmond police are looking for the owner of a dog that attacked and killed another dog Monday at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center in Redmond.

According to police, a Great Dane attacked a smaller Pomeranian at the fairgrounds. The owner of the Pomeranian rushed it to a nearby veterinary clinic, where the dog died.

In the commotion, the dog owners did not exchange contact information.

The owner of the Great Dane had three others of the same breed.

The Redmond Police Department shared a photograph of a white SUV, the driver of which appears to be the owner of the Great Danes.
