Rapper Brother Ali and producer Ant will release a new album called "Satisfied Soul" in February.

Breaking news: Rapper Brother Ali and producer Ant (from Atmosphere) — two pillars of independent hip-hop over the past two decades — just announced a new album called “Satisfied Soul,” due out in February.

Let’s let them explain:

“Ali wields his pen like a blade, slicing through the smoke of political despair and personal revelation, delivering wisdom with a preacher’s cadence and a rebel’s fire. Ant crafts a sonic mosaic of dusty drums, warm vinyl crackle, and ghostly rhythms that feel like they’ve been pulled from the deep pockets of America’s forgotten record shops.”

So basically, both dudes doing what they do best on one stage. That’s dope.

They’re also touring together, and that tour is stopping at Bend’s Domino Room on Saturday night. It’s the first time Ali and Ant have toured their collaborative catalog, and may be the only chance to see them perform the music they’ve made together.

Miss it at your own peril!

Brother Ali with Ant, plus Dee-1: 7 p.m. Saturday, $30, Domino Room, 51 NW Greenwood Ave., Bend, midtownballroom.com.
