Five Central Oregon brewers place in World Beer Cup

Five Central Oregon Brewers — Deschutes, Bend Brewing Co., Monkless Belgian Ales, Sunriver Brewing and Wild Ride Brewing — have earned medals at the annual Brewer’s Association’s 2025 World Beer Cup.
The winners were selected by judges out of 8,375 entries from 1,761 breweries and cideries representing 49 countries at the annual contest held by the not-for-profit trade association on Thursday.
The Central Oregon brewers who won include:
- Sunriver Brewing Co. earned a gold medal for its American wheat beer
- Bend Brewing Co. earned a bronze medal for its American-style lager
- Monkless Belgian Ales earned a silver medal for its Belgian-style dubbel;
- Deschutes Brewery earned a silver medal for its Munich-style helles;
- Wild Ride Brewing earned a silver medal for its American-style lager.
