Announcement of great sadness the passing of Charles “Dan” Merritt on November 6, 2023 at 75 years old.

Dan is survived by his wife/partner of 42 years Eva, daughters Erin (& Ernie) Cortez (granddaughters Emily & Leah), Shannen (& Enrique) Arizaga (granddaughters Marissa, Karina, Leila & Adrina) and Krista Merritt; great grandchildren Adalyn, Johnattan, Amelia and Mathew; also his sister Sue Lee and family.

Pre-deceased by father Charles L. & mother Lillian G. Merritt, brother George D. Merritt and sister Kathie L. Whitlock.

Dan and Eva lived in the beloved neighborhood of Deschutes River Woods for 18 years surrounded by cherished neighbors within the City of Bend, OR; prior residence of Southern California.
