Carolyn and Gary Wirth will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on Nov. 9.

The couple were married in 1968 in Monterey Park, California.

Mrs. Wirth retired from Valvoline in 1970. Mr. Wirth worked for the department of water and power for the state of California, retiring in 1998.

The Wirth’s are the proud parents of Chris Wirth, of Garden Grove, Calif. They have two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

The couple have lived in Bend for 17 years.
