Douglas Underhill

Birth August 29, 1947 – July 24, 2023

Douglas (Doug) Underhill passed away on July 24 of Glioblastoma while surrounded by family.

Doug grew up in Bend and attended Bend High School before graduating from Oregon State University. After marrying his high school sweetheart, Jean Cecil, they moved to Lake Oswego where he worked at Oregon Culvert until retirement. Doug enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, camping, Blazer basketball and spending time with his family, often at the Oregon coast.

He is survived by his children; son Ryan and daughter-in-law Jenny, daughter Jenny, sisters Jane and Beverly, and grandchild, Jaxon.

Funeral services are Monday, August 21st at 2:00 in Adams Chapel at River View Cemetery in Portland. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the OEA Foundation.
