It’s a very busy music week throughout Central Oregon. Here’s a quick roundup of some highlights:

The second annual Steampunk Music Festival is set for this weekend at the Rosland Campground in La Pine. Acts playing the event include Balkan Bump, High Step Society, Spunj, The Mostets, Leadbetter Band, with workshops, a family zone and late-night silent discos planned, too. Fans of high-quality rap music: Underground giant Brother Ali returns to town Wednesday for an evening of hard-hitting beats, thoughtful rhymes and hip-hop as activism.
