- Bring! Treats for Dogs bakery offer a variety of shaped dog treats.
Portland ranks as the best food truck city in the United States. So you might be surprised to hear that with the endless pod options around town, there is one customer base that’s been mostly untapped in the cart scene. That is, until Bring! Treats for Dogs opened on Southeast Division Street. That’s right, a food cart dedicated solely to dogs. The only one of its kind in Portland (at least that we could find).
Kristen Martin is the dog lover and baker behind Bring! Treats for Dogs. Martin bakes all of her dog treats from scratch inside the red cart that formerly was home to Artigiano. Inspired by the needs of her own dog, Moxie (who also serves as Bring! director of quality control), Martin’s dog treats are human-grade, organic and gluten-free.

Martin spent more than 17 years in the wine distribution industry, before pivoting to her dog treat business. The pandemic made her reconsider her career path. She knew she loved dogs and wanted a creative outlet.
“Everybody kind of thought I was a little crazy,” Martin said. “I thought maybe I was a little crazy.”
But she took her crazy idea and ran with it. Bring! launched as a stand at Sellwood Farmers Market before taking over the Artigiano cart in November 2022.
At the cart, and continuing at the stand at the farmers market, you’ll find dog treats of all shapes and sizes. A pun-lover at her core, Martin bakes “pupcakes,” “empawnadas,” “puptarts” and more. She’ll even bake your pup a custom cake.
Many of the treats are peanut butter based, others have pumpkin or beets. She also uses gluten-free rice flour in the dough. You won’t find meat products, not even eggs, in these treats and Martin is proud that the cart does not use artificial ingredients.
What you will find at Bring!, however, are furry, excited customers, many of whom make a daily visit. And they know what a visit to the trailer will bring. Martin places a chair in front of the cart window so that the pups can get on their hind legs and catch samples.

Bruce Bailey and his chow chow, Bruno, stopped by Bring! on a rainy day Wednesday walk down Division Street. They’ve been loyal customers since the cart’s opening.
“Bruno just loves them,” Bailey said. “And he loves Kristen, too.”
Their walk to Bring! is now a daily routine and Bruno knows the route, Bailey said.
The cart is open every day. You can grab a treat for your dog Monday to Saturday from noon to 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. There’s even a covered patio with seating to relax while your dog enjoys the treats.
