Dr. Derri Sandberg, an optometrist at Lifetime Vision Care in Bend, was named president of the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association. The association also named Dr. Gabby Marshall, of Elemental Eyecare in Bend, named Optometrist of the Year. And Dr. Jessica Tegen, of Madras Vision Source, was given the president’s award.

Chris Gossard has been named executive director of the High Desert Community Radio, KPOV 88.9 station. Also named was Kate Tiernan as development director.
