You may not know Darrell Scott’s name or his face or his albums, but you know his songs: They’ve been cut by big-time country stars like Brad Paisley, Faith Hill, The Chicks, Patty Loveless and Travis Tritt. His best-known is probably either “You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive” (which has been covered by many artists) or The Chicks’ “Long Time Gone.”

Of course, you may know Scott’s name and face and albums, too. The guy has been recording great songs and touring all over the country for 30 years, including several previous stops in Central Oregon. This time, he’ll play Redmond’s High Desert Music Hall as part of the Cascades Radio Hour concert series.
