The 19th Annual Bend Venture Conference is seeking applicants in three competition categories: growth, impact and early stage.

Applications are due by Aug. 16 for the conference that will be held Oct. 20-21 in downtown Bend.  The conference is hosted by the nonprofit Economic Development for Central Oregon and is among the largest venture capital competitions in the country, according to EDCO. 

Companies across the United States are encouraged to apply, according to the EDCO announcement.  Over the past six years, the conference has awarded prizes surpassing $10 million to 40 companies. The conference connects business leaders and investors with entrepreneurs.
