40oz to Freedom will perform at General Duffy’s Watering Hole on Thursday.

If you’re a fan of Sublime and their ska-reggae-punk sound, then you won’t want to miss the premier Sublime tribute band, 40oz to Freedom, performing at General Duffy’s Watering Hole in Redmond on Thursday night.

40oz to Freedom is a professional Sublime tribute band and the winner of the 2010 San Diego Music Award for Best Tribute Artist. The band has toured the entire U.S. and Canada for more than 13 years, developing one of the largest tribute band followings in the world, according to the band’s bio.

40oz to Freedom is described as “true to the So-Cal vibe with thumping bass lines, rad beats and shredding guitar riffs topped off with soul quenching vocals,” by a State Room press release.

The six-person band is made up of Dane Scott on vocals and lead guitar, Carlos Perez and Jeff Peterson on the drums, Jiho Han and Devin Jobson on the bass, and Jeremy Miller and Todd Stoops on the keys.

“With lead singer and guitarist Dane Scott’s uncanny musical resemblance to Bradley Nowell, they are undoubtedly the closest live experience to Sublime you can find,” said Josh Davis, the band’s agent.

The concert will begin at 8 p.m., following the second Wintervention hosted at General Duffy’s. Wintervention is an ongoing series of game and raffle nights sponsored by Hoodoo and happening all winter.

Hoodoo is dumping over $50,000 in raffle prizes including lift tickets, lodging, skis, snowboards, gear, goods and more across multiple Wintervention events just like this one. Over $4,000 in prizes will be given out at each event. This is a free event for all ages and no purchase is necessary to win a prize.

There will also be a lineup of local vendors selling things like handmade jewelry, hot sauce and more during the Wintervention.

The after-party with 40oz to Freedom is a 21 and up event that costs $25 online. Buy your ticket now because inventory is limited, according to Cady Lindsey, General Duffy’s event coordinator.
