Laura Thomas and Tom Hentges, both of Bend, plan to marry Sept. 9 at the home of friends in Bend.

The future bride is the daughter of John and Cathie Thomas, of La Pine. She is a 2001 graduate of Mountain View High School and a 2005 graduate of George Fox University, where she studied elementary education. She works as a court clerk for the Deschutes County Court.

The future groom is the son of Sally Beall, of Roseburg. He is a 1992 graduate of The Dalles High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1993-99. He works as the banquet manager and restaurant supervisor for 10 Below in Bend.
