WHITE CITY — A Jackson County sheriff’s spokeswoman says a homeowner in the southern Oregon community of White City fatally shot a man who ran up to his residence, claimed someone was chasing him and then tried to forcibly enter the home.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Andrea Carlson said 49-year-old Mark Corsbie, of Medford, was killed Monday afternoon. The 65-year-old male homeowner was not immediately identified.
