View Vintage Aircraft in Madras

Jack Erickson started his collection more than 30 years ago, collecting more than 20 rare vintage aircraft, most of which are still in flying condition. From a P-51 Mustang to a B-17 Flying Fortress, the Erickson Aircraft Collection in Madras—at one time the Tillamook Air Museum—offers the public a unique opportunity to see a piece of history. The collection is on display at the Madras Airport. Be sure and check out the 2019 Airshow of the Cascades August 23–24 as stunt pilots perform aerobatic feats from hammerheads to loops, barnstorming the blue skies of the High Desert. A visit along the flight line provides a great display of vintage and military aircraft, food concessions, and live music.
