Musicians looking to polish their skills can head to The Drum and Guitar Shop for a series of workshops hosted by guitarist Rod DeGeorge (of Rod DeGeorge’s Guitar Gods Review) and drummer Karl Lindgren (JuJu Eyeball). The workshops start Saturday and continue July 6, July 20, Aug. 3 and Aug. 10, with Lindgren’s drum workshop up first at 11 a.m. each day followed by DeGeorge’s guitar workshops at 1 p.m. The musicians will focus on the ins and outs of their instruments, including technique, music theory, composition, improvisation and knowledge of the instruments themselves.

Tickets cost $25 per workshop (so $50 if you’d like to attend both on the same day), or $100 for the full series of either guitar or drums ($200 for both). Call or email the shop to reserve a spot (see below).
