The Irish Rovers are coming back to Bend, and this time around, they’re going Scottish. The long-running band, which helped to popularize Irish music in America in the ’60s and ’70s with hits such as “The Unicorn” and “Whiskey on a Sunday,” will support its latest album, “Up Among the Heather, the Scottish Album,” when it returns to the Tower Theatre On Tuesday. In addition to highlighting the Celtic roots, similarities and differences between Irish and Scottish music, the band will also continue its celebration of its first album, also titled “The Unicorn,” which turned 50 in 2017. That celebration will undoubtedly contain material from the 2017 album “The Unicorn, The Continuing Story,” featuring a new version of “The Unicorn,” as well as a direct sequel, “Narwhal, the Continuing Story of the Unicorn.”
The Irish Rovers: 7:30 p.m. Tuesday; $40, $50 or $65 plus theater preservation fee; Tower Theatre, 835 NW Wall St., Bend; towertheatre.org or 541-317-0700.
