Peggy Driscoll was born December 30, 1926, in Wood River, Nebraska. She died February 3, 2019, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

In 1948, Peggy graduated as a registered nurse from Aultman Hospital School of Nursing in Canton, Ohio. Following her graduation, she moved from Ohio to San Francisco, California.

On May 22, 1954, at St. Monica’s Church in San Francisco, California, she married Harry Driscoll. They had four children, John, Anne, Paul and Mary.

In 1990, Peggy retired from St. Charles Hospital, Bend, Oregon.

Peggy was a gardener and an accomplished seamstress, specializing in quilts. She was a voracious reader.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harry. Peggy is survived by her children, John, Anne, Paul and Mary; her grandchildren, Debbi Varidel, Omar Abual-Eis, Hannah Drake and Matthew Drake; by her great-grandchildren, Isac Varidel and Juniper Abual-Eis; as well as by her sisters, Ina Sutton, Vi Geyer and Donna Haas; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Niswonger-Reynolds Funeral Home is providing funeral services.

A Solemn Requiem Mass, followed by graveside services, will take place Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 1:00 PM, at St. Francis (Historic) Church.
