Dim sum and then some — Bend’s 5 Fusion & Sushi Bar will offer a “modern” dim sum brunch on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. that may become a monthly feature. A variety of shared plates will include both Chinese classics, such as steamed buns and egg rolls, and new dishes by chef Joe Kim, including tempura-fried shiso leaves and filet mignon “lollipops.” Reservations are suggested. 821 NW Wall St., Bend; 5fusion.com, 541-323-2328.

5 Fusion’s sister restaurant, Poke Row, will have sake-tasting classes the following Sunday, April 7, with Sake 101 at 4:30 p.m. ($30 per person) and Sake 301 at 6:30 p.m. ($40 per person). Prices include four tastes, a poke bowl and dessert.
