As soon as you enter the converted craftsman bungalow in Bend that’s home to Ariana Restaurant, you realize this is a fine dining establishment that values quality over quantity. The small, open dining room is elegantly appointed but unfussy, providing a perfect setting for the mouthwatering food prepared by chefs Ariana and Andres Fernandez. During the warmer weather, you can also enjoy outdoor seating on the patio. The New American-style menu has European influences and features local and regionally sourced ingredients. Start with a beef carpaccio appetizer followed by a ruby and gold beet salad, then an entree of seared wild jumbo scallops with an Oregon Dungeness crab risotto. And save room for the creme brulee dessert. An extensive wine list, full bar and attentive servers are the cherry on top of this 5-star experience.

Ariana Restaurant is open for dinner from 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
