The Offspring, Millencolin announce Bend shows

Some highlights from another busy week in music news:
• Pop-punk will invade the Midtown complex this summer and fall.
First up, The Offspring will perform an acoustic show at Midtown Ballroom on June 15, with Social Distortion guitarist Jonny “Two Bags” opening. The Offspring is known for such hits as “Come Out and Play” and “Pretty Fly (for a White Guy),” and is working on new studio material. Tickets cost $39.50 plus fees and go on sale Friday at jmaxproductions.net, ticketweb.com or Ranch Records (no fees).
Then, Swedish punk band Millencolin will play the Domino Room on Sept. 18. Tickets cost $20 plus fees and are on sale now at eventbrite.com. Visit 1988entertainment.com for more information.

• Weekend passes for this year’s 4 Peaks Music Festival will increase in price Friday to $225 plus fees, and can be purchased at eventbrite.com. Weekend passes will still be available for locals to purchase at Cosmic Depot for $195.
The festival will take place June 20 through 23 at D.M. Stevenson Ranch, and the final performer lineup will be announced Monday. Visit 4peaksmusic.com for more information.
