Bend home prices rebound in March

Bend area home sales rebounded in March, according to the latest report from Beacon Appraisal Group in Redmond.
The median sale price of single-family homes was $445,000, up 4.2 percent from $427,000 in February. The median sale price was about 5 percent higher than March 2018, when it was $424,000.

Sales volume rose 40.5 percent, from 106 closings in February to 149 transactions in March. Homes sold in March spent an average of 77 days on the market, down from 103 days on the market in February.
In Redmond, the median sales price was virtually unchanged at $313,000, compared to $314,000 in February.
Sales volume rose from 47 deals in February to 65 in March. Last month’s sales volume was on par with March 2018.
Homes sold last month spent an average 141 days on the market. That is the longest turnaround time seen in the Redmond market in four years. Homes sold in February spent an average 91 days on the market, and in March 2018, it was an average 113 days.
