The median sale price of single-family homes in Bend hit $470,000 in July, according to Beacon Appraisal Group in Redmond.

That is a new high for the Bend area and 7.6% above the median sale price of $437,000 in July 2018.

Bend saw 239 homes sold in July, similar to the sales volume of 233 homes during the same month last year.

Homes sold last month spent an average 59 days on the market, down from an average of 67 days in July 2018.

In Redmond, the median sales price was $315,000, up 5% from $300,000 in July 2018. Last month’s median price fell back from $330,000 in June.

Sales volume was up 17.6% since last year. There were 100 homes sold last month, compared with 85 in July 2018.

Redmond homes sold in July spent an average 62 days on the market, compared with 73 days a year ago.
