Annual ski swap Oct. 12 in Bend

The annual Skyliners Ski Swap, presented by Latitude 44 Sports and featuring new and used ski and snowboard gear of all kinds, is set for Oct. 12 at The Pavilion ice rink in Bend.

A fundraiser for the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation, the swap features new equipment provided by retailers at below-wholesale prices, according to an MBSEF release.

The public is invited to sell used items as well. Those wishing to sell used gear are encouraged to complete check-in forms online at www.mbsefskiswap.com. Gear drop-off and check-in will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 11. The swap on Oct. 12 runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Items that do not sell can be picked up from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 13, or they will be donated to local thrift stores.

The Pavilion is located at 1001 SW Bradbury Way.
