Carroll Eugene Painter

Carroll was born in Chuckey, Tennessee, to Elmer Elbert Painter and Birdie Mae (Broyles) Painter on February 16, 1935.

The family moved west to Oregon, and Carroll grew up on the family farm in Bend. After graduating from Bend High Class of 1953, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Carroll received his Honorable Discharge from the Marine Corps in May of 1957.

He married Genevee Nicholson (now Schideler) in September of 1958. The couple welcomed three daughters into the world, Carolann in 1959, Lori in 1960, and Toddine in 1962.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Birdie Painter; and sisters, Lorene Hopper and Wanda Rollins. He is survived by his sister, Thelma Painter Fix; four nieces, one nephew, and their children; daughters and their spouses, Carolann Carson, Lori Miillé, and Toddine Newberry; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Deschutes Memorial Gardens, Friday, June 22, 2018, at 2:00 pm. Springerandson.com
