Hyatt Hotels Corp. expects to close later this year on a $480 million acquisition of Two Roads Hospitality, the parent company of Sunriver Resort.

Hyatt announced the acquisition Monday. Hyatt said in a press release that the deal includes the majority of Two Roads’ 85 properties in eight countries.

After the transaction closes, Hyatt will create a dedicated lifestyle division merging the operations of Two Roads’ and Hyatt’s lifestyle brands.

Sunriver Resort has been part of Destination Hotels, a Two Roads Hospitality brand, since 1993, said Molly Johnson, director of marketing communications at the resort. Two Roads Hospitality was formed in 2016.

The resort employs about 550 people year-round and more than 950 during summer, Johnson said via email.

Its accommodations include 245 guest rooms and over 300 vacation rental properties.

The resort’s amenities include The Cove swimming and outdoor recreation facility, 11 dining venues, Sage Springs Club & Spa, four golf courses, 45,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, a marina and private airport.
