Melissa Mae Moore of Terrebonne, Oregon, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the age of 69, at her home in Terrebonne.

Melissa was born in Portland, Oregon, to Benson E. and Irene M. Moore on June 3, 1948, the 6th of 6 children. Melissa enjoyed sewing, spending time with her family and her cats. When she was younger, she often entered her embroidery projects in the Deschutes County Fair and won many awards. She was a kind person that was loved by all who knew her.

Her family moved to Central Oregon when she was in the 4th grade. She graduated from Redmond Union High School in 1966.She is proceeded in death by her parents, a brother, James B. Moore of Salt Lake City, Utah, and a sister, Maudie Rounds of Terrebonne.

She is survived by 3 brothers, Benny Moore of Prineville, Charles Moore of Hammond, Louisiana, and Tommy Moore of Pasco, Washington. As well as many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

A private service for family will be held at a later date.
