Downtown Sisters 2017

No matter your interests, summertime in Sisters has something for everyone, from classic cars and arts and crafts to colorful quilts, live music, and races in the mountains. Delicious food, friendly locals, and easy walking make your time spent in Sisters memorable.

Regular happenings include the Sisters Farmers Market every Friday from 2 to 5:30 pm at Fir Street Park on East Main Avenue and the monthly Fourth Friday Art Stroll from 4 to 7 pm through more than 20 galleries and businesses, with art, refreshments, music, and demonstrations.

The second Saturday in July means the town is spread with quilts for the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show from 9 am to 4 pm. Classes and events take place all week long. Check out sistersoutdoorquiltshow.org for all the activities.

As a thank you to the community, Sisters Folk Festival presents three free summer concerts, July 26, August 2 and 16, sponsored by First Interstate Bank. The shows are at Fir Street Park at 6:30 pm, and you can bring blankets or low-back chairs. The nationally renowned Folk Festival itself happens September 7–9 and tickets are sure to sell out.
